Welcome to Gomer Press . . .
Gomer Press was established in 1892 by
John D. Lewis. Its first book was printed and published in 1896 and producing books has been the company's main activity ever since.
In 2004 a separate division, Gomer Book manufacturers, was created to coincide with a move to new premises, when a significant investment was made which included the installation of a Heidelberg platesetter, Heidelberg B1 press, Wohlenberg Golf
Limp-binding line and a Kolbus case-binding line.
The company is still family-run, now by the fourth generation of the Lewis family, and its aim of producing quality work at competetive prices continues to be paramount and is achieved by an experienced and dedicated workforce coupled with investment in the latest technology.
