We at Gomer Book Manufacturers have invested in completely new, state-of-the-art equipment, which will enable us to offer a first class high quality book manufacturing service at competitive prices. In today's fast-moving publishing environment, short turn-around times without compromising quality will be very much a commitment.

The pre-press department can accept files by e-mail, CD, ISDN or via our File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Site. These files are checked using our Heidelberg 'Print ready' system and proofs are produced on a Xerox 3535 colour laser printer or large format ink jet.

Our presses are suited to printing text in monochrome, two colour and four colour process. Consistency of inking is controlled by the automated Heidelberg "Axis" system and coating can be undertaken at a small extra cost.

Limp binding includes section sewing, notch or perfect binding; case binding is undertaken by a new Kolbus line. This enables us to provide a complete manufacturing facility including the printing and laminating of covers and jackets without the need for outworking any part of the process.

Our goal is to produce the finest quality book, both in limp cover and hard back, with the emphasis on striving to achieve customer satisfaction at all times.
